A little clip from our recent adventure to see Iron & Wine at the Ryman. It was quite fun and a beautifully extravagant array of musicians that made up the gazillion piece band. Sam Beam was quite funny & entertaining and ah, the music. SO good. It was so fun to look over at David's face as if there were stars in his eyes as he watched the show unfold. This was his birthday present so I will dare say it was a success! Iron & Wine down, this weekend we are seeing Gungor play. If you have never heard of them, look them up...good stuff!

ReplyDeleteI love Sam Bean! Some friends and I saw him a few years ago at a tiny venue in San Francisco. It was just him by himself, and it was so personal and wonderful. But then I saw him again last year in Napa and it was all adult contemporary-jazzy-sounding. Nothing wrong with that, but it just wasn't the same haha.
