Alpaca Funsies

About a month ago, the my little house known as 318b, joking referred to as the Palace, dissolved.  I moved home to save money for Australia, Kristen moved in with some of our other friends, and Heather hopped a flight and headed down to South America where she is now making her home at a discipleship program run by WYAM in Columbia.  Yeah, she's cool.  So cool, in fact,  that we decided to throw her a going away party complete with a great friends, good music, yummy food, string lights, and of course her favorite animals...alpacas.

Yeah, we're those kind of people I suppose. The ones to find a way into having alpacas at our cookouts....and for free at that.  Hah! My friend Amber was on a mission to make this happen and found some sweet people who raised alpacas to come out for the night.  Let me tell you it was so fun.

As the end of the night rounded out, there were just those who were closest to Heather left around the fire.  We took that time to highlight some of her awesome qualities, out loud, in front of everyone.  It was an opportunity to tell Heather the value we see in her and bless her as she takes off.  In a way it reflected just how close of a tight-knit little family we are.  I am so thankful for the community of friends that I have.  I don't think I'll ever forget that night, especially that part of it.

Annddd....the pictures just turned out so fabulous, I couldn't help but share.
