Merry Fridays

So once upon a time, there was a presidential candidate.  Who cares what party and what candidate because it’s not relevant to this story.  Anywho, said candidate had not yet chosen a running mate.   Here goes the conversation that went down between me and one of my best friends Elise over dinner:

Elise: So-and-so is gaining momentum and whatnot, etc, etc.

Me: Who has so-and-so chosen as their running mate?

Elise: I don’t know but so-and-so better choose wisely.

Me: Who is Wisely? Is that a governor or a senator?

Pause.

More Pause.

Me: Ohhhhh.

Elise [along with rest of table]: Laughter. Lots of it.

Oh ya know, sometimes it takes me a few minutes before it clicks. Just a little laughter for your Friday!
