Living Freely & Giving Generously

Lately, I have come across kind people day after day that really just give me hope in humanity.  Don't get me wrong, I don't really even tend to lean towards the view that we are a hopeless society or anything like that...but people have just pleasantly surprised me lately.

My roommate is a server at a restaurant here in town and we all know with serving comes the ups and downs.  Some days are really good, and some are defeating.  In the midst of a bad day she had a sweet girl who came in to eat alone.  Now to me, that sounds brave.  I always catch myself observing people as they eat in public alone and I actually admire them.  I'm a pretty independent woman and like my alone time but have not conquered eating in a restaurant alone yet- unless you count Panda Express or coffee shops.

Anyways, this girl left a $40 tip on her $8 order with this little note attached.  If this doesn't inspire you to be more generous and live more freely then you're just missing out on life!
