Morning Reads

morning routine

I conquered my first book of the year and I am feeling inspired!  Each morning [more or less] I have taken some time to sit by the fire,  have a nice cup of coffee, and dig into scripture, a devotional, and this book.  It is my little routine and I find it to be quite refreshing.  I am actually pretty sad this book is over, although I always have the option of reading it again.  You know when you're reading something great and you fly through it because every page is just. that. good.  Well this was one of those,  but as soon as your done you wish you wouldn't have gone through it so fast!

I love how honest and transparent Allison is throughout this book, and how candidly she shares her walk with God.  It is beautiful, honest, and gripping.  Not to mention she shares a 50-state-long adventure with you that you can't help but be inspired by.  You invest in her story and see the connections of her life lessons to your own.  If you are looking for a book to prompt you to live life more abundantly with more fullness, this is it.  It is an honest look at what is important in life and what is not.  It shows you that life challenges you both in the wildest adventures, but also in the mundane predictable life as well.  It gives you the freedom to both let go and hold on at the same time to the various relationships and things in your life.

You can always count on me to share a good read with you! Thanks Kendall for sharing!  Any book suggestions from my lovely readers?
